yah, specifically the number of fence posts needed for the outer "circumferential" part of the fence

Is there any specific reason you have not used the word average/expected or am I missing something?
yes, the trees in the convex hull, except that you can ignore the part of the hull along the axes. Also, good catch on the average/expected wording. That was my mistake. I adjusted the language so that I'm asking for the average
